MediTrack — Healthcare Mobile App

The Challenge

MediTrack needed a patient-facing mobile app that could handle appointment scheduling, prescription management, and telehealth — all while being accessible to users of all ages and technical abilities. The healthcare industry’s strict compliance requirements added another layer of complexity.

Healthcare design requires extraordinary empathy. We conducted contextual interviews with patients ranging from tech-savvy millennials to elderly users managing chronic conditions. We observed how they currently interacted with their healthcare providers and identified the friction points.

The Solution

We designed a mobile experience that prioritizes clarity and ease:

• One-tap appointment booking with smart suggestions based on patient history
• Medication reminders with a simple, visual schedule that even non-tech-savvy users could follow
• Telehealth integration that feels as natural as a FaceTime call
• WCAG AAA accessibility with large touch targets, high contrast, and screen reader optimization

The Results

The app launched to exceptional reviews from both patients and physicians. The intuitive design reduced the burden on MediTrack’s call center while dramatically improving patient engagement with their healthcare. The accessibility-first approach also opened the app to a much wider patient demographic than previous versions.
