Trakkr — Fleet Management Dashboard
Trakkr — Enterprise SaaS Design
Designed a fleet management dashboard that gives logistics companies real-time visibility, reducing operational costs by 30% and improving delivery efficiency.
The Challenge
Trakkr’s fleet management tool was powerful under the hood but impossible to use on a busy dispatch floor. Dispatchers toggled between multiple systems, missed critical alerts, and couldn’t get a real-time picture of their fleet. The company needed a unified dashboard that matched the speed of their operations.
Our Approach
We spent a week on-site at three logistics companies, shadowing dispatchers through 12-hour shifts. We mapped every tool they used, every screen they switched between, and every moment where the system failed them.
“Our dispatchers used to juggle five different screens. Now everything they need is in one view. It’s transformed our daily operations.”
The Solution
We designed a command-center style dashboard built for high-pressure environments:
- Live fleet map with real-time vehicle positions, traffic overlay, and geofence alerts
- Unified alert center that prioritizes critical events and suppresses noise
- Drag-and-drop route planning with AI-powered optimization suggestions
- Driver performance scorecards tracking safety, efficiency, and punctuality
- Shift handover mode that summarizes the current state for incoming dispatchers
The Results
Dispatchers adopted the new dashboard immediately, with 92% daily usage from week one. Route optimization became 45% faster, missed deliveries dropped 60%, and Trakkr’s clients reported an average 30% reduction in fleet operational costs.
